Please update the photos so they reflect the actual recipes. Also, it would be great if you added a section to allow documenting daily activity including which recipes used, excercise, any cheats and a place for daily notations.

Would be awesome if it was free for people who didnt buy the book. Especially when Dr. Phil himself said it was free and people at home could download it without even mentioning you had to get to book first!
Purchase (book) required, -which I bought-but more than that its frustrating there is an incomplete ingredients list and no shopping list through the app. For instance the apple pb smoothie -which sounds really good- only lists Greek yogurt, apples, pb. Then in the instructions it reads to add unsweetened whey protein powder- no Print is too fine for gently aged eyes and too small. :0) Is there a way to increase the font size ?
It should be stated in the app description that you have to own the 20/20 book to use this app. Deleted and wont be getting either anytime soon. Shame on you Dr. Phil for misleading viewers.
YOU DONT NEED THE BOOK. So i signed up for this app and it told me I needed to buy a book to unlock the features of the app. But somehow I was able to do that without buying a book by simply closing the app on the book "question" page. Then I logged in with the email that I registered. There are nice recipes for breakfast, lunch, dinner, and snacks. The workouts are not that great, but it does tell you how many you should to do. I have been seeing a lot of people saying that you have to BUY a book in order to access this app. Well you DONT!!!! HOWEVER, NOT ALL FEATURES FROM THE BOOK ARE INCLUDED. THE APP IS FREE THO. I would rate this app a 3.5-4.5 ish
Shame on whoever was responsible for submitting this to the App Store! I dont think Dr. Phil would be happy if he saw how sloppy and incomplete this app is. I am sure that he or his staff usually review anything that he endorses. This app apparently slipped past him, his staff and his son who owns/operates Bird Street Books. I wouldnt want my dad to see this app. The pictures dont match the recipes and "Notifications" is misspelled. If so little thought was given to the accuracy of the app, how do I know that there was any more thought given to the 20/20 plan? The only reason I gave this app 3 stars is because the recipes appear to be tasty and easy to make...
App is useful for recipes only, but pictures are very misleading!! They show "add-ons" that the recipe doesnt include and are not even allowed in the specified phases of the program. Also would be nice to have a list of the approved foods per phase. I have the book and have to constantly flip through for food list. It is when I am away from home/book (ex: shopping or dining out) that using the app would be most helpful!
I like the diet, but the app isnt helpful at all. If they had all the recipes from the book in this app it would be helpful to log your meals, but there are only five recipes for each phase. Its nice to see videos of how to do the exercises but not a helpful companion to the book at all.
Like the other person said, not all foods are listed, the links dont work (actually now there are no links, at all) and the "help" is worthless. I sent a comment three times and they acknowledged me once. There is no other place to ask questions about the diet. The diet, itself is working for me but you certainly are on your own. Some of the recipes are not complete.
Sorry not very good at all
As far as I can tell it matches the recipes in the book. Its pretty rudimentary. It would be cool if could track what youve eaten or link with other apps like apple health or Anylist. I use it as my cookbook when I prepare my meals.
I think the app works okayish it could be better. it doesnt have every recipe from the book, but I have the book and its way to much to read so this app kind of makes the book simple. Also there are some glitches in the app, when I go to notification and workout it completely clears me out of the app, also you make a schedule of what you eat, which I wanted. but what was good is that it gives you a eating schedule and gives you a workout schedule. I guess the app is okay Im still going to use it but I think it could be better.
App keeps crashing and kicking me out. Going to delete!!!
I like that the recipes are conveniently available to me so when I go to the store I can choose my meals for the next few days in advance. However, the app glitches a lot regarding the other features it is supposed to have. Notifications - doesnt even work. It just kicks me off my app and I have to restart it. Clicking other links - On the 20/20 app, you have 50/50 chance that the links will work or kick you off the app. The app is moody and shows no mercy!! I basically perceive it as a portable recipe app regarding the 20/20 Diet. I have my measurements in it but sometimes I have noticed glitches. Some update ideas would be to fix the glitches, put in a shopping list app, make your goal lists in the app (since you are basically on your own!). Has a lot of potential but it is just, at least for now, a mobile version of the book, which honestly has more information in it. I hope this helps! Good luck everyone!
I like the recipes and phase ideas on this app. I have sent feedback x2 and they dont seem to understand what I am asking. When I clicked on a meal before, it would let me choose it for the wheel. Now it wont let me choose a meal at all. The feedback said to click on settings and progress. My app doesnt even have that choice. I think Dr. Phil would be terribly disappointed that this app is representing his book!
No where in the app does it say you had to have purchased the book in order for it to be a free app!!!! False advertising/bait and switch!
Zero stars. As mentioned in another review; no book no app. Yet they get your email before telling you. Good phishing app.
I was very excited to get this app, and was very disappointed when I did. As others have stated, it keeps kicking you out when you try to enter information. Basically, there is only recipes. Not helpful at all. Wonder if Dr. Phil is aware of this!?
I bought the book and made my lifestyle change 3 months ago. Having a functioning app would help out tremendously and I hope Dr. Phil and his team fix it soon. Some things that could be improved include: *Recipes: This is a big one. Recipes on the app are vague and the pictures dont even closely resemble the finished product. One photo even has chocolate bar pieces in it! Some recipes are even missing. *Exercises: It would be much easier to do cardio if there was some videos to follow to help me know exactly what I need to be doing and help keep track of time. I have not looked at the resistance videos but I had heard they are not that helpful. *Restaurant guide: Having options at more restaurants would help tremendously and having those options on the app would help even more. *Glitches: It often boots me off the app and when I go back in, it starts me over. *Reminders: I recently found that it has a reminder to eat option buried in the settings area. This has been a big help, but it could be more accessible. The workout reminder is ridiculous. There is no way to delete a reminder once its set.
Cant get into it because it keeps crashing. When I use the "contact us" feature, a pop up appears stating "email parameter is missing", though all fields are properly filled in. Have restarted app several times. Crashes when I hit "start program over". Frustrating.
